Who Am I?

my name or username: droxman
the city and country from where I take this course: South Africa, Johannesburg.
one reason why you should visit my city at least once in your life : it is a dynamic and eclectic city with a lot of heartbreaking history but also progress from it.
my background (education, job, interests,…) : Materials Science
this is what I expect from this course: getting into the nuts and bolts of DFT enough to pursue interesting parts of my own research i.e. surface reconstruction prediction of metal oxides.
this is the longer term goal in my life to which I expect this course will contribute : I want to understand how I can extend DFT capabilities by introducing AI into it.
