The results of experimentation are only as good as its least controlled variable. Computers allow us to run experiments that are more controllable than any lab can reproduce. I believe that computational experimentation is a great extension of theory but that it must still be validated by lab based experimentation. A chemical compound that can only occur in ideal computer models but not in earths atmosphere is not very useful to humans. Creating the compound mentioned in the video is a great feat… We already knew that mother nature hides much from us. The next great question I think is can it be recreated in the laboratory?
