In a simulation activity you are calculating an outcome based on already existing theories. You aren’t testing theories to see if they are correct.
I think people misunderstand how far quantum physics has already come and mistake it for a field where even the basic theories still need to be tested. This is not fully the case anymore however, as many of it’s fundamental theories are already established.
