    The Sun is significantly more massive than all of the planets in the Solar System, so it can be treated as a nucleus while the rest of the planets are electrons. Going term-by-term in the Kohn-Sham equations:

    The planets’ individual kinetic energies would be calculable with the classical physics method, while their Hartree energies could consider the inverse-square law of gravitational force instead of Coulomb’s law. The external potential would instead be some kind of average gravitational force in the Solar System (this may be complicated by the masses of all the planets being different), while the exchange correlation potential would remain the same mysterious constant.
