My name is Kauan da Rosa Paulino, and I am taking this course from Curitiba, Brazil, one of the greenest cities in Latin America.
I studied at the Universidade Federal do Paraná and I am currently an undergraduate Computer Science student at the Instituto Federal do Paraná. From 2020 to 2021, I worked as an undergraduate researcher using Density Functional Theory to study ferroelectric materials such as BaTiO₃.
Through this course, I hope to strengthen my understanding of DFT and prepare to return to research in spintronics and emerging memory technologies in the future.
