A directive approach

perhaps the philosophy behind this vision should be understood as such that one looks at it as serving as more of a directive towards- as opposed to a realization of – what materials are better to work with in terms of a specific quality being maximized or minimized. And of course seeing it as such, contains within it specific property of experimental results informing the computational framework.
