    I agree with this video, the computational material physics is a good start to get a general idea of what materials have the properties you are looking for. This could remove a lot of guesswork from material science and speed up research. I do not know what a realistic timeline is for large scale application of this, as it will require a lot of computational power. Maybe the AI craze of the moment can help with this, as a lot of datacenters are being built.
