KS DFT for many body systems, segregates the hamiltonionian into 3 different parts. They are,

    1. Non interacting e-e terms, this includes the kinetic terms that form KS equations.

    2. Nuclear and electron interaction, V_ext and finally,

    3. Exchange correlational terms that include non-classical e-e interaction terms as well as the interacting Kinetic terms.

Coming back to the question, if I apply KS method to solar system there is no 3rd exchange correlation terms since it’s not non-classical system.

Looking into other answers, I believe the essence of the question is to bring the application of combining single body hamiltonian with the interacting terms.
