Instead of describing the system as ‘one-on-one’ interactions, where every planet feels the influence of all other planets/stars (and simultaneously influences these other planets), I would go to a ‘many-on-one’ interaction, where the ‘many’ refers to the average mass density of all satellites that affects each individual planet.
