My name is Ben, and I am from North West Arkansas, USA. We have lots of mountain biking, hiking, and beautiful lakes in the area! There is also a large community of rock climbers. I am currently in my undergrad, dual degreeing in Chemistry and Humanitarian Disaster Relief. I am currently working on a computational project studying the fluorescent emissions of calcite and fluorite, using Quantum Espresso and a Fluorescent Microscope as the primary instruments of research. Although I am lackluster at utilizing QE at this moment. I expect to gain more experience and understanding in computational chemistry to help me with both this project and a foundation for computational experience in the future.
