Hello,
I am from Algeria, the largest north-African and Mediterranean country, it is ecologically and culturally diverse as a continent.

I’m a secondary school teacher of physical science, I failed to complete my PhD ;( , but I still has a passion for condensed matter physics that always ignites my desire to get a PhD.

I follow this course to get a conceptual understanding for the physics underlying computational methods and also get familiar with tools used to calculate different properties of materials.

I want to be able to independently design and run calculations of different properties and extract the right physical insights from the results.

I also has a high respect for Prof stefaan Cottenier, as I know some of his works, and I like how he explains complex things keeping it fundamentally correct and accurate.

Thank you so much for putting this course online for free. It is a gem.
