I am excited about Ceder’s vision. Computation is already amazing at predicting new materials, and it is getting better at including real-world effects like defects too. We are not totaly 100% experiment-free yet, but we are definitely heading that way in my opinion. What used to take years in a lab can now be narrowed down on a computer in days.
