    The main difference is that we are dealing with gravitational rather than Coulomb interactions. The planets play the role of electrons with specific kinetic energies, while the Sun acts as the nucleus and it corresponding potential. The gravitational interaction between the planets and the average distribution of all other planets is the Hartree potential energy.
