ab initio modls

I would conclude that quantum mechanics and classical mechanics are ab initio models. They provide the basic mathematical means to describe observations in nature (as stated in the video). In the same sense I would argue that electromagnetism is an ab initio model. The first principals here would probably be Maxwell’s equations or Lenz’ law.
