K-S Equations

To apply DFT/KS to the solar system, we replace electron density with mass density and treat planets as non-interacting bodies. Each planet moves independently through an effective potential combining the Sun’s gravity and the average mass density of the other planets. The Exchange-Correlation functional corrects this average field. Solving these single-body orbits iteratively until the mass density stabilizes yields a self-consistent map of the system.
