I currently have access to my HP ProBook 640 16″ G11 notebook with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor (1.40 GHz base clock), 32 GB RAM, and a 64-bit x64 architecture, which I would use for smaller-scale ab initio calculations. For larger and more computationally demanding simulations, I would rely on a university computing cluster with higher core counts and significantly greater parallel processing capabilities.
