Classical correlation assumes that variables have well-defined values at all times. Quantum systems don’t—they have probabilities tied to measurement outcomes.
Quantum correlations include phenomena like entanglement and contextuality, which have no classical analog.
If we used the classical definition, we’d miss uniquely quantum features and incorrectly predict that quantum systems behave like classical ones.
