With the KS equations in mind, we replace the one-on-one interactions of the quasi-planets (one upon another and vice versa) with the global/average density of the elements, a many-on-one interaction. The quasi-planets move, so therefore posses kinetic energy. The gravitational field of the star will act as the external potential of the rest of the components of the system. And lastly , we account for the exchange-correlation potential of the quasi-planets that is unknown.
