Hi there!
My name is Michael and I’m from Moscow, Russia. I hope, ones many of you will be able to visit my country to see its beaty and perhaps destroy any stereotypes you may have about our country and the people who live here. Perhaps in better times…
I was studies chemistry at the university and mainly focused on organic materials, including both experimental and calculational aspects. I have some practice in materials computation and I’m responsible for this part of work in our lab, but since I had mainly worked with purely organic materials until recently, it was sufficient for me to limit only with simple “molecule-in-vacuum” modeling. But now we are dealing with some complex systems, such as organic interfaces between inorganic layers, so I have found my experience and knowledge are not enough for this type of system. I expect that the information provided in the course will fill in my gaps in both theory and practice.
