My name is Jesse Osborne, I am going into my 5th year of Engineering Physics at Carleton University. I live in Ottawa, Ontario just a short bike ride from school and love all the winter sports and activities like skating on the Rideau Canal (Largest skating rink in the world).

I am taking this course because our solid state physics elective was not offered this year, but that is the field I want to take my career into. I enjoy writing software code, and love learning how things use physics to work… So simulating physics is the goal. I hope to use what I learn here get a full time job after graduation doing what I love.
